This Is Improv's Comedy & Improv Camps is made for kids who want to find their funny! Campers explore the fundamentals of comedy and improv as taught and performed at This Is Improv. This summer, your kids will develop skills like creative thinking, self-confidence, listening, brainstorming, team building, empathy, and communication, all while laughing out loud with friends. During This Is Improv's Camp, Your Kids Will: - Learn Improv and Comedy as Acting and Performance Styles - Learn to Write Comedic Scenes (perfect for content creators in the making) - Learn to Direct Other Students for Their Scenes - Produce Their Own Show Made Up of Their Own Scenes - Perform for Family and Friends Mornings usually start off with improvisation and acting skills before moving into comedy writing and rehearsal for their show after lunch. There are also breaks built into the morning and afternoon sessions. Camp will conclude on the last date with a Performance produced by the kids from 3pm-4pm. Camp Fee: $700 per session **************************************************************************************************************** All shows and dates are subject to change. All sales are final. There are no refunds or credit issued for withdrawals or cancellations of participation. Before Care: From 8 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. – $7 per day as used or $100.00 for unlimited before care per session. After Care: From 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. – $15 per day as used or $200.00 for unlimited after care per session. **You must register for Before and/or After Care separately. Campers must bring their own ready-to-eat packed lunch and snacks.
